Okay so, one question that may be bugging you: "What is this going to be like?" Well here's your answer:
Ground Zero is literately a destroyed, post-apocalyptic area over-run by dangerous mutated humans, animals and plants. Zombies are, however, the most common 'monster' in the area. For every mutated animal you find you will find about 20 zombies, making Clarensford a very dangerous area.
However, you can't really get out of the area - the government military is stationed just outside of the 5-mile radius to keep the area quarantined. Should any escape attempt be made, people are shot dead on the spot. Should any mutant be found outside of the radius and guard block, they will be taken into custody and 'released' into Ground Zero. So anyone who's currently living within Ground Zero, isn't there by will.
So more or less we're dealing with a very tense battle zone in which people and mutants alike reside in.
Which brings up the topic of racism. The 'normal' people are racist and very prejudice against the mutated humans as they find them grotesque and consider them freaks. The mutants, in turn, believe that they are the superior species due to their mutations. This, naturally causes conflict. However with the rise of zombie and mutated animal populations, the two enemies forge a very very weak truce against a common enemy. Naturally there are those who don't mind mutants, just as there are those who hate the truce. There are always polar opposite opinions.
And that's the general feel of Ground Zero PM me if you have any questions at all!
