Alright guys - rules are numbered, expectations aren't. Don't worry they're more a reminder than anything. More or less I'm looking for a level of simple respect and common courtesy.
1. When you create your account have the name have some connection to your character. For example: Don't name your character Fifi if your board name is Bruiser.
2. You cannot kill another players character without permission. I know that usually this is a given, however, some people forget. Should you kill someone character without his or her permission you will edit your post so as to avoid death.
3. Keep the drama off the boards. I don't care if you broke up with your girl/boyfriend who is also a member on this forum - you don't sit there and post crap on public forums about him/her. Savvy?
4. Respect your fellow players. Pretty sure you guys had 'respect' and the meaning thereof drilled into your minds throughout school. If not PM me and I'll explain what I expect.
5. You MUST be at LEAST 16 years of age to role play on this site as it contains mature content and gore. If you are under the age of 16, please leave now, I don't care how mature you are.
6. KEEP TO THE PLOT! I do NOT want to see x-men people or sexy furries trying to apply here. It's not that I have anything against either - I don't - but we're not superhero's or anime characters here, we're apocalypse survivors/victims.
Okay - expectations. Again these aren't rules - just suggestions.
- Use proper English grammar and spelling. I don't expect it to be perfect - God knows mine is terrible at best some days - but I expect you to do your best and keep the text understandable. This means no MSN talk, short forms, etc while writing an in character post. Do what you want while out of character, but keep it MSN free while in character.
- One thread at a time. You can make as many characters as you deem necessary, as you can only have your character in 1 plot thread at once. It gets a little funky time line wise when you've got 1 character in 3 different threads with varying time settings. This, of course, can vary from situation to situation. Please PM me should you need to be in more than 1 plot thread at a time.
- Keep up with your threads. People don't like waiting a week or two to simply make a 200 word post. Try and keep the wait time at about 3 days tops. That way player tension is fairly low and people are posting happily.
Aight that's it so far. Should anything else pop up I'll edit this post in any case, have fun!
