It hasn’t been long since the explosion that rocked Clarensford, barely two weeks, but even still groups are being formed and at a formidable rate. There are those out there that believe that all are equal – mutant or not, and others who would disagree.
“Yea. You got hummies that are normal, and don't give a hell whatever is wrong with you. They're the best to find, cause they'll treat you like everyone else. Then you got a group of hummies in the east quadrant called the Divine Right. Humans that didn't mutate, that believe they need to destroy the mutant, cause we wouldn't have been mutated if we were stronger in the faith. They believe God will free them from the city if they destroy all mutants." As said by Ray Ray Graham in “Meet’n’Greet”, and really it couldn’t be put better.
The Devine Right is lead by Father Ira, a middle-aged priest wit a deap-seated love for God, and an even deeper hate for mutants. When these godless creatures showed themselves for what they were – demons, all of them – the Father decided it was time to move forth with righteous fury. These heathens could not be allowed to live without judgment. And, so help him God, exercise them he would. Starting with only his congregation he rounded more believers, victims and the doubtful and formed the Devine Right. With God giving them the strength, courage and wisdom to win this war, they shall!
"Then you have the muties that are still the same people they were before they changed, just regular people with a few minor alterations. Then there is the Heretics Invictus. They took their name as an opponent to the Divine Right. Muties, all with some power that makes them believe they are better than humans, they are pretty militant. They want to break the barricade, but that ain't gonna happen. Your best friend in this city, human, mutant, whatever you are, is Father Andrei Russ. He leads the 'lost lambs of God' to salvation. He's good to everyone, and the only human the Heretics tolerate."
The Heretics Invictus… a mutant-only group led by Angel who believes the he was mutated by God’s good will.
After being captured for heresy by the Divine Right faction, Angel was tortured for a time. The cut at his sensitive feathers, pulling on them, burning them, burning the sensitive pin feathers, only just luckily not killing him. Angel was rescued by a mutant known as Rynoc. A huge man before his mutation, Rynoc was made even stronger and tougher by the explosion. Taking Angel under his wing, Rynoc taught him the rhetoric of why mutants were superior to humans. Taking it to heart, even to see Rynoc as the first prophet of mutant kind, Angel began preaching the Gospel Superior, A New Testament for Mutant Kind. When a battle between the Divine Right and the mutants went badly and Rynoc was killed, Angel stepped in and took over the group. He holds service every Sunday morning, Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights. He despises the name Heretics Invictus, but only the Heretics part. He is willing to be an Angel of Mercy and Divine Light to mutant kind, and an Angel of Blood, Death and Vengeance to all of humanity.

With these two factions at war with each other, a third rises from the shadows. Hive. No-one’s quite sure just who the leader, Alpha, really is or what his true plan is, all they know is that whatever it is, it can’t be good.
One constant median, however, is Father Russ, the very man who had shown Angel God. Saddened by how his young friend has confused God's will with his own, Father Russ now strives for equality among all. Backed by very few Father Russ can only help those who are in need, but can expect no back-up. A man on a mission Father Russ refuses to give up, even when with a war brewing.
