Name: Amy Jessamine
Race: Mutated Human
Age: 18
Height: 5'9"
Weight: 156 lbs
Physical Description: Amy is tall, with black hair and green eyes. She doesn't wear much make-up, and usually wears jeans, a leather jacket, and a tank top or t-shirt. Amy has two horns growing from her forehead, which measure around 6 inches long and are curved slightly, black in color. She has slightly long finger nails that are also a black color, and are very sharp and hard. Her legs mutated, with reversed knees, and her feet morphing into hoof like appendages that are hard and reliable.
Possessions:
BRUTE LH IF 29 DRAW 70 LB- A hunting bow, the Brute was a gift from Amy's ex-boyfriend. She was an avid archer growing up, and now uses the bow to hunt for food or kill Zombies. Due to her own natural muscle and strength, Amy is actually quite capable of drawing the 70 pound draw weighted string.
Carbon Fiber ARROWS- For the time being, Amy uses Carbon Fiber arrows with your titanium razor blade broad head arrowheads.
ROSARY- A devout Catholic, Amy carries a rosary and attends the joint services offered at Saint Michaels for both humans and mutants.
GOLD LOCKET- a Gold Locket Amy wears around her neck, the inside is inscribed. Amy shows it to no one.
Profession: Before the explosion, Amy was a student and waitress.
After the explosion, Amy still continues what studies she can, most of which are taught at the same Community College she always went to, as the teachers and students all lived in the area. She also sells hunted animals, and takes jobs to clean out areas of the towns Mutant problems.
Abilities/Traits:
ARCHERY- Amy is not only a good archer, she is a VERY good archer. Boasting years of training and practice, she earned the nickname the Mutant Robin Hood. Finishing in the archery division of Alabama, she is excellent at hitting stationary targets up to 50 yards away. She can also hit a moving target, but if it is moving very fast, due to balance issues, she can't track it very swiftly.
PHEROMONES: For some reason, Amy is able to release pheromones that can control fear and arousal in some creatures and other mutants whose mutations lean to a more animalistic side. Amy has to constantly keep up a thought to use them, and if her concentration is broken or she stops for some reason, the effects only last around 3 minutes at most.
Weaknesses: Amy can't run very fast or balance on precarious objects well. Her hooves also make it difficult for her to walk on freshly waxed floors or on slanted wooden floors or concrete. She also has a fear of the Divine Right and the Heretics Invictus, both hate her one because she is mutated and the other because Angel believes she is demonic to his angelic. Therefore, she is severely limited in where she can safely go. Amy's balance is off, mainly because she hasn't really figured out how to operate with backwards facing knees. She needs a good stable flat surface to stand on when firing her bow. She can run with her legs, and she can sometimes do acrobatic moves, but only when she is not trying to, if anything it is more a survival reflex. She trims the nails on her thumb, index and middle fingers, but it is a long, tedious and painful process for her. But, if she does not, she can't properly close her hand to shoot her bow.
Background: Amy was born in the city. Her father moved the family south to Alabama when she was 7 years old, where she met her boyfriend from the age of 10 til 18, Ray Ray. Growing up in the small town, Amy became a cheerleader, leader of pep club, and a member of SADD. Ray Ray interested her in Archery at the age of 12, and she joined the schools Archery team. When her and Ray Ray graduated, she convinced him to move back to the city with her, where she was from.
They lived together for 6 months before Ray Rays lack of ambition and the fact that he would rather hang out with her and the dog at the house than go out annoyed her. They didn't live in 'Bama anymore! They lived in the city! Renting an apartment on the cities East Side, she constantly hounded Ray Ray to give her more space, to move away, everything she could think of to distance the man she loved. Because she did still love him, that much was true.
On the day of the explosion, she was going to steal the dog from him. She knew it would break him. She woke up three days after the explosion in a burnt building, mutated beyond her imagination. Through trail and error, she found the extent of her powers.
She still cares for Ray Ray, but doesn't know he is mutated like her. Fearing rejection, she hasn't reached out to contact him yet, but she will.
Role Play Sample:
Amy slumped down in the chair, bone tired beyond belief. She had worked all night at the restaurant, and her hooves were sore and beginning to show signs of wear. She might have to start wearing some kind of horse shoe soon, something to help her. Looking to her shelves, she seen the photo of the only man she knew that knew how to make things like that, things that could help her, take care of her. Stroking the picture from her high school frame, she softly spoke out loud.
"Oh Ray, what have I done..."
